Spinal Injury Care
Almost half of those with spinal cord injuries will need help with personal care on a daily basis. They will need help with the activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, bowel and bladder care in addition to simply getting in and out of bed and around their homes. They will need help in terms of errands, shopping and preparing meals, housekeeping and laundry. Furthermore, their needs may increase as they age and have less energy. Our staff are well trained and are able to focus specifically on providing relief involved with spinal cord injury care. Care will be monitored by our nurses who develop a care plan for the patient in conjunction with the patient’s other health professionals and family.
